| It was a fairly routine day on track yesterday in Shanghai with Kimi Raikkonen topping both the morning and afternoon sessions in his Ferrari. Raikkonen set the pace with a best lap of 1:36.607s with just 0.023s covering the fastest three. |

With the times so close amongst the front-runners, it is clear at this stage that Ferrari and McLaren were evenly matched but based on recent events, this session tends to see one or the other make a step forward. |
